The Community Government Scheme commenced operaptions on the 23rd June 1993. This links to the Northern Territory Legislation Database where the most recent version of the Marngarr Community Government Scheme can be downloaded as a PDF of RTF document.

The Community Government Scheme explains how the Council runs. This includes the Area of Governance , how Elections are held, the Elected Members within the council, the procedure at Meetings , and the Responsibilities of Council.
